Year 10 took part in a variety of tasters at different Colleges to help them with their decisions next year. This included Barnsley College, Barnsley Sixth form, Wath Comp and Dearne Valley College.
Some students also found out about the Animal care courses at Wigfield farm. Another group visited Army stands in the town centre to explore opportunities and visited Barnsley FC to check out their sport courses.
Student feedback in general has indicated that the visit helped them to find out what it is like at a sixth form and college and many have said they now know what course to take.
