Year 9 students kicked off the first of our student council meetings this week.

Students were recently given the opportunity to put themselves forward and volunteer to become part of Student Council.  Students who were interested gave ‘reason why’ speeches in form times. Two students from each form were selected by their peers in an anonymous vote.

Organised by Mrs Hamstead this opportunity gives the students a chance to put across their voices and ideas to implement changes and activities throughout the school.  It was nice to see so many students getting involved and the lovely weather was a bonus.

There are still a few places available in Years 10 and 11 – if you are interested in joining please speak to Mrs Hamstead.
