At Astrea Academy Netherwood, we very much value the partnership we have between home and school. When parents and carers get involved, our students thrive both academically and emotionally. Together, we can create a positive and creative environment where every young person feels encouraged and supported to reach their full potential.
There are a number of ways parents and carers can get involved:
- Attend our regular parents’ evenings: We hold regular parents’ evenings through the school year and encourage parents to come along and meet your child’s teachers face-to-face.
- Attend our school events: We host a variety of events throughout the year, such as school performances and celebration assemblies. We love to see our families coming along to support the young people at these events. It’s also a great way to get a feel for school life here at Astrea Academy Netherwood.
- Join the Parent Forum: Our Parent Forum meets regularly to discuss school matters and offer constructive feedback. It’s a great platform for parents and carers to have their voices heard and to make a difference.
