The Government is currently making arrangements for students who are entitled to a free school meal and who take this up. We expect these plans to be finalised during next week and we will post details as soon as we can.
In the meantime our caterers are making grab bags available to any student entitled to a free school meal irrespective of whether they are in the academy because they fall into the Key Worker or vulnerable category.
They can pick up a grab bag at 12.00 each day from the LRC, eat at their convenience and then they would leave the academy site. This will help keep the number of children on the academy site to a minimum and that is a key purpose of closure.
We know that this is not ideal but it is a holding measure designed to ensure that children have access to food.
