Dear Parent/Carer
The Film Studies & English Department are organising an enrichment visit to France, which is to take place between Wednesday 26th and Friday 29th May 2020. The journey to France will be by coach. Students will be able to enjoy a 2-day visit to Disneyland Paris and enjoy a half day walking tour in central Paris, where we will be seeing sites such as The Louvre and the Eiffel Tower.
The visit to Disneyland Paris will be particularly beneficial for any students studying Film Studies, as they will be able to visit the Walt Disney Studios Park which pays homage to the industry. Students will benefit from seeing real life film sets, live special effects and even go on a ‘Studio Tram Tour’.
However, the trip is open to all year 9 students wishing to join us as visiting Disneyland Paris will be a well-deserved treat prior to beginning their GCSE studies in year 10.
